HOW I STARTED

I started my journey to becoming my healthiest self 8 years ago when I was a babysitter for a local family.  I noticed that the woman I babysat for always had so much energy! Her energy was contagious and I wanted so desperately to have a little bit of her energy and positivity.  I was struggling big time.  I was at an all-time low.  I was frustrated that Doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me.  I was always tired, depressed, anxious, bloated, lacking motivation and drive to get things done, and I was sick and tired of just feeling sick and tired. I started wondering if life was worth living if I had to live this way.  I was only 19 years old and was taking 13 prescription medications a day. 

I was relentless in searching for answers to my problems.  I know that this lady I was babysitting for was put in my life for a reason! She introduced me to the power in the foods that you eat and that connection to how you feel.

I started focusing on real whole foods and cut out dairy and gluten. I started noticing that I had more energy, my stomach issues were improving, my skin was brighter and I had less inflammation. My need for all of the medication that I was once prescribed slowly went away and I found myself being able to taper off of those drugs that my doctors once told me I would never be able to live without.. 

I fell in love with becoming the best version of myself and sharing my journey and supporting others through my blog and healthy meal prep service. When I started prioritizing my own healing, I noticed positive changes in those around me too.

It is my passion to help others find foods and make lifestyle choices to help them feel their best. I love to educate clients on the power of food as medicine and then watch them empower themselves to make lifestyle changes. Once you have your health, the possibilities are endless!
